Park Village Auctions is poised to host its last truck and trailer auction of the year which will showcase a collection of top quality genuine bank repossessed truck tractors, trailers, yellow metal and agricultural equipment.
That’s the news from PVA’s LeRoy Augustyn who is pleased to announce that the auction will take place on Thursday the 30th of November at 10.30am at PVA’s truck yard at Nasrec, JHB South.
Augustyn says that the upcoming auction is sure to attract buyers across the spectrum seeking value for money ahead of certain fuel and inflation increases.
Notes Augustyn: “We’ve seen the demand for used commercial vehicles -and agricultural equipment in particular- grow throughout the year as fuel prices and subsequent business costs continue to soar.
“The fuel price for December alone is set to increase by as much as 75 cents per litre for 95 octane petrol and 63 cents per litre for Diesel. The Automobile Association has commented as well, with warnings that further hikes on the cards as signs point towards further rating downgrades, placing extra pressure on the Rand, while the oil price strengthens.
“Add the predicted 5.1% inflation rate for 2018 to the mix and all of these factors only build the case for acquiring low-mileage second-hand vehicles to offset costs.”
The auction will see rigid trucks and truck tractors from manufacturers such as Freightliner, Hino, International, Isuzu, Iveco, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan, Renault, Scania, Tata, Toyota Dyna, Volvo as well as various MAN TGA and TGS go under the hammer.
There will also be a variety of trailers and earth moving equipment up for grabs. Items under this banner include, among others, flat deck link trailers, SA Truck Bodies, Henred Fruehauf, Afrit and Motor Trail flat deck link trailers, skeletal, curtain side trailers and side tipper trailers, Tautliner trailers, skidsteer loaders, excavators and backhoe loaders.
Viewing will take place on Wednesday 29 November from 10am to 4pm. A detailed inventory list can be found on PVA’s website using web reference 16286.
